Every engineer passed four vetting gates with one of our leads. You interview them yourself; if one is not working out in the first two weeks, we replace them at no cost.

Vetting
Four gates between a CV and your codebase
01
Code review
Candidates submit real code, not whiteboard answers. We read it the way we review pull requests: naming, tests, error handling, commit history.
02
Live pairing
Ninety minutes building a small feature with one of our leads. We watch how they debug, not whether they memorized an algorithm.
03
System design
One hour on a system they have actually run in production. We push on failure modes, data growth, and what they would cut under deadline.
04
English and communication
A written brief and a spoken walkthrough. If they cannot explain a trade-off to a non-engineer, they do not go in front of clients.
