This policy explains what personal data Veltcode collects when you contact us or use this site, why we process it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it. We ask only for the details we need to reply to an enquiry and deliver work.
What we collect
When you send a brief, request an estimate or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email, company and the description of what you are building. If you browse the site we collect standard analytics data (see our Cookies Policy).
Lawful basis
We process personal data on two bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interest — to respond to an enquiry you started, to prepare a proposal and to run and secure this website.
- Consent — for optional analytics cookies, and where a form asks you to agree before we process your details. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us using the address below.
Retention
We keep lead and enquiry data for 24 months from your last contact, after which it is deleted, unless we have an active contract or a legal obligation that requires us to keep it longer.
Processors
We share data only with the processors that help us run the service:
- Supabase — stores enquiry and lead records.
- Resend — sends transactional and reply emails.
- Vercel — hosts this website and its forms.
- Google Analytics — measures site usage, only with your consent.
- Our booking tool — schedules calls you choose to book.
A Data Processing Agreement is signed before any project kickoff, with EU-region hosting and Standard Contractual Clauses available on request.
International transfers
Where data is processed outside your region, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, for UK data, the IDTA or UK Addendum.
Security
We apply access controls, logging and data minimisation across every build and only collect what we need to reply and deliver.
